Melvin and Gail are celebrating their 38th anniversary this month. Although Southern Melvin didn't make a great first impression when he first met Northerner Gail because he was a bit of a smart aleck he soon won her over with his charm and great cooking! They built a wonderful life together first with successful careers and then with five children. They built a household full of love and instilled in their children a strong work ethic and strong moral values. After 38 years of marriage they are still very much in love with each other. We went to a park near their home and it was so fun to take photos of them and see how much they still love each other. Melvin still has a twinkle in his eye when he looks at Gail and she still laughs at all his jokes. They are so cute together. They also happen to be my parents! This may have been one of my favorite photo shoots ever because being able to photograph my mom and dad's love meant so much to me. I am beyond blessed to have two wonderful, loving parents.
