I love, love newborn sessions. It is so special to be let into someone's home when they have just had a baby. I photograph babies when they are 5-7 days old so they are brand new! I love the process of coaxing little ones to sleep and capturing every sweet, new thing about them. Babies change so fast so capturing these first days are so priceless. Every newborn session is different based on the baby. Well Baby K was a rockstar! She was amazing during her session. I got so many sweet photos of her and I love them all so much!
Newborn photo sessions are one of my favorite things. Especially when the baby is one of my best friends baby and has been so highly anticipated! Baby Hazel did not disappoint for her session. She was such an adorable little newborn. She slept so peacefully but also let me get some photos of her with her eyes open. I adore these photos!
Baby J was the sweetest little newborn. He was quite the happy, little guy. I took his older brothers photos from maternity to one years so it was so exciting to capture this special newborn. You will see much more of Baby J over the next year! I hope you love these sweet photos!

Baby M was the sweetest little baby at her newborn session. She was so tiny and angelic. She stayed awake for part of her session so I could photograph her beautiful baby blues. All of her outfits were so cute. I especially loved the wrap with the bow. So adorable. There is nothing better than taking photos of such a sweet new baby. And the newborn snuggles I get are just a bonus. I love these photos and I hope you enjoy them too!
Oh my gosh Baby J was such a cute, little newborn! He even woke up a little bit for me and his eyes are just so alert. I love the blankets we incorporated into his session that his relatives and made. It is always so special using the babies priceless items and heirlooms. This is one good looking family! Check out these adorable photos.
I adore this cute little family. I photographed Zachary last year for his two year birthday and I was so excited when they asked me to come back and photograph their beautiful new baby girl. And what a sweet girl she is! Oh my gosh she was so little and precious. She was so sleepy and let me get some amazing photos. Zachary just melted my heart at how much he loves his new sister. When he looked down at her and said I love you it made me tear up. It was just the most precious thing ever. This shoot was before Easter and I just loved Lexi's adorable bunny outfit which Zachary also wore as a baby. I love how everything that Lexi was photographed in or near had a special significance. These photographs will be family heirlooms and I enjoyed creating them so much!
I was so excited to take Kate's newborn photos. I always love photographing sweet, new babies when I photographed their parents wedding. Kate's nursery was so adorable. It is a perfect first room. Kate was so good for her session. She slept most of the time probably enjoying the warm room on that cold day! She was just so adorable from her sweet little lips to her tiny little toes. And of course we had to get some photos of her in her Georgia gear and with her bulldog as her parents are both graduates of the University of Georgia. I love these photos of precious Kate Jo. Enjoy!

I was so excited to take a trip to Tennessee for Lyla Kate's newborn shoot. It is always really special to me when I get to photograph a brand new baby when I photographed their parents wedding. Lyla Kate was the sweetest little baby. She was very sleepy and only objected a couple of times as I posed her. I just love all her adorable little features. I hope you enjoy these photos. Leave this sweet angel some love in the comments!
I love photographing sweet newborns. Every time I take photos of babies in their first days of life I feel it is so special. I am capturing a fleeting moment that the parents will remember the rest of their lives. I am taking photos that the kids will look at as their parents tell the stories of how their lives were changed forever. I feel it is a huge responsibility and an honor to capture these family heirlooms. Every newborn shoot is very special to me. But I must admit out of the many wonderful newborns I have photographed this was the most special. I have a very large extended family since my paternal Grandfather and Grandmother came from very large families. My Grandparents had one son and one daughter and within this immediate family my cousin was born 23 years ago. And that was the last baby in our immediate family until sweet baby Kalynn was born to my cousin. She is kind of a huge deal in our family! Kalynn was so good for her newborn session and slept most of the time. But she also was awake so we could see her pretty blue eyes. She is just the sweetest baby ever! I really love these photos of my cousin and his family! I hope you enjoy them too.
Little Miss Kathryn is the sweetest baby. She was so good for her newborn session. She slept most of the time and when she was awake she was calm as could be so we could get some photos of her eyes open. Big brother Marcus was very energetic but adorable with his new sister. I love photographing this family! Take a look at these photos and leave some love for them in the comments!
I can't say enough about how precious these girls are! Oh my gosh they are so cute. Little miss Audrey is smart as can be and loved getting her photo taken. We had so much fun running around her house and finding fun new things to take photos with. And baby Sammy is beyond cute. What a little angel. She was so sweet and slept almost the whole time. I loved seeing the sisters together. I hope these two girls can be as close as me and my sisters. I had so much fun capturing these first few days of Sammy's life. I dare you to look at these photos and not have a giant smile on your face!
Oh my goodness Amelia was the sweetest little baby. She was so tiny and perfect! Her mom and dad were precious with her. They are so in love with this sweet little one. I loved hanging out with her and getting some sweet baby snuggles! Check out these adorable photos!
Kyle was the sweetest little baby. He decided to show up a little ahead of schedule so he was almost a month old before I was able to photograph him. It was well worth the wait because he was so wonderful to hang out with. He slept through almost the whole three hours I was there. He put up with outfit changes and posing. He was perfect. I loved meeting him and his wonderful parents. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
Introducing sweet Miss. Aubrey! She was such a precious five day old. It is always so special to photograph a long time friends baby! Aubrey slept through most of her session and was so angelic. I had so much fun at this session.

Kinsey is such a sweet baby! She was only one week old when I took her newborn photos. She slept through most of the session and was so good. She was such a little, pink angel!
Baby HJ was so fun to photograph. He was so sweet and brand new! He slept the whole time. I loved seeing the sweet moments he shared with his mom.
There is nothing so beautiful as a brand new baby sleeping peacefully. The tiny eyelashes, fingers and toes. The calmness on a sleeping baby's face. The sweet smell. I just love brand new babies. I enjoyed photographing sweet, little Marcus. This shoot had such special meaning to me as I had photographed his parents gorgeous wedding. It was so sweet to see Kalen and Robbie interacting with their new son. I can only hope that Marcus will be able to look back on these photos for the rest of his life and see how much he was loved.
