I loved this family photo session! These boys are so adorable. I love hanging out with this family. They are super photogenic and fun. I love these photos so much!
Newborn photo sessions are one of my favorite things. Especially when the baby is one of my best friends baby and has been so highly anticipated! Baby Hazel did not disappoint for her session. She was such an adorable little newborn. She slept so peacefully but also let me get some photos of her with her eyes open. I adore these photos!
I loved this summer engagement session with Kimberly and Matt! It was such a perfect day. They are so adorable and so in love so I was really excited for their session. We went to Line Creek Nature Area in Peachtree City which is such a gorgeous location with the woods, creek and shoals. It was family affair with Kimberly's mother and brother along and we had so much fun! Kimberly was awesome navigating the root filled paths in her wedges! I love engagement sessions because they are such an awesome way to get a bride and groom comfortable in front of the camera as well as used to taking direction and posing for me. And it's an awesome way to get to know the couple better in a relaxed environment. I always really encourage all my couples to do an engagement session for those reasons. Matt and Kimberly were amazing in front of the camera and since I have known them for years we didn't need to get comfortable but it definitely helped them know how to pose on their wedding day in November. The day ended on what I thought was the perfect note as the skies opened up and rain GUSHED down. It's unexpected moments that can bring forth those gorgeous photos as I handed them my special, pretty wedding umbrella and stood photographing them in the rain. The photo of them kissing under the umbrella in the rain is one of my favorites from the session. I hope you love these photos as much as I loved taking them. And stay tuned for their amazing wedding photos in the next couple of months!
I love when someone wants something different from what I usually photograph. My sister, Jennifer decided she wanted a dramatic portrait shoot that was solely based on the makeup of Taylor Momsen. I was excited and ready for the challenge. Jennifer had her fabulous makeup done by the talented Gaby. It was perfect and exactly what she wanted. We had so much fun hanging out at her house and getting awesome photos of her in her favorite outfits. Jennifer has that gorgeous blonde hair and big blue eyes so I always have loved photographing her. After all she was one of the first people I ever photographed. I love these photos!
I loved Kalynn's two year old session. Her little dress was so adorable and she was super excited to run around with her balloon! Her brother enjoyed posing with her and he is such a sweet brother to her and I loved capturing that closeness in this session. These photos also make me dream of summer! I am already ready for the cold to go away. I hope you love these photos. Let me know what you think! Also, don't forget I am currently booking Valentine Minis. Contact me today to grab your session!
I love, love being a photographer. There is nothing better to me than taking gorgeous photos of people and things. Two years ago my sister and I started a blog about our hometown. Coweta Life was founded to share the many wonderful businesses, culture, shops and restaurants that are in Coweta County. My sister is a very talented writer so putting that together with my photography was a natural fit. The best part about Coweta Life has been meeting so many wonderful people in the community. We are lucky that in Newnan we have the Newnan Artist Rez program in which artists come from all over the country to do an artist in residence at the adorable Gray Cottage. In April we were thrilled to meet and interview Phoenix artist Christine Cassano. I really wanted to share these photos here as well. Christine is an amazing artist and I really loved hearing and seeing the passion she has for her art. You can read more about Christine and find out about this specific project that I photographed on Coweta Life but I hope you enjoy these photos!
Earlier this year I photographed Atlanta singer/songwriter Joanna Duff. We went into this session with a vision of Brigitte Bardot, rustic and airy. Joanna was absolutely gorgeous and I love these photos! You can check out her music on her website.

Oh my how I adore taking photos of this adorable little boy and his sweet family. They are just the cutest. I loved this four month photo session. I love when I get to see sweet babies every few months. I love watching them grow up!
I loved taking Joy Barnes' new headshots and portraits for her real estate work. Joy is an awesome Newnan, GA real estate agent who has helped me and my husband with the purchase of two homes and made the process relatively painless which isn't easy to do! We took these photos on the coldest day of the year so far. I love these photos of Joy in downtown Historic Newnan.
Baby J was the sweetest little newborn. He was quite the happy, little guy. I took his older brothers photos from maternity to one years so it was so exciting to capture this special newborn. You will see much more of Baby J over the next year! I hope you love these sweet photos!

It's Christmas in June! I realized I never blogged Kate Jo's one year photo session. And I love, love these photos. Kate Jo adores her honorary Aunt Snooze (my nickname) but isn't a huge fan of my camera so I worked hard for all these smiles. I love this family so much and loved these one year/Christmas photos.
Amber and Daniel's wedding was so wonderful! I was so excited for their wedding day as I had been anticipating it for over a year. I loved doing their engagement photos in Asheville and I was so thrilled for their Savannah wedding. And it was an absolutely gorgeous day! It was filled with so many beautiful and emotional moments from her dads tears as he saw her in her dress for the first time, Amber's emotion as she saw walked down the aisle to Daniel, the laughter during their vows and the wonderful up swelling of love and support from all of Amber and Daniel's friends and family. Amber was a stunningly beautiful bride and Daniel was so handsome and excited to marry his bride. The weather was perfect as they exchanged heartfelt vows in Madison Square. I am not sure there was a dry eye among the guests. I really enjoyed the family portrait time as these two families were so fun to hang out with. Amber and Daniel even were able to enjoy some of the cocktail hour after their couple portraits. The reception was an absolute blast with awesome music, dancing and amazing food. All the guests seemed to immensely enjoy the evening. I loved their beautiful magnolia wedding cake with the awesome bride and groom high fiving cake topper. Very Amber and Daniel! It was such a wonderful wedding day full of so much beauty, fun and sentimental moments. It was such an honor to photograph Amber and Daniel's wedding day. Here is the story of their day in photos. Enjoy!

I had so much fun taking the B family photos. I was so excited to see them and take some fun New Year's photos. Imagine my shock when HJ took off his jacket to reveal his Big Brother shirt. I was so thrilled that the family session was also a pregnancy announcement! We had so much fun running around and playing. HJ has the cutest smile and he loved mugging for the camera. I love, love all these photos so much. I can't wait to meet the new Baby B in a few months!
I realized I never shared these adorable Christmas photos so I thought I would share them today since it is Throwback Thursday. We went to a Christmas tree farm for these sweet Christmas photos of my cousins. I mean they are seriously the cutest kids ever. I love them so much. Holidays are so fun when you have kids to spoil. I love these photographs so here is a bit of Christmas cheer in March!
It is no secret that I adore this family! I love photographing them. The girls are always so happy and love getting their photos taken. We had a great time at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve. This was such a fun fall family session! The one of the girls laughing is one of my favorite photographs ever! I hope you love these photos as much as I do! Also, remember I am currently booking spring photo session! firstname.lastname@example.org
I absolutely loved this gorgeous wedding. Thanks so much to Melinda Humphries Photography for inviting me to second shoot with her. The Georgian Terrace is my favorite hotel in Atlanta. It is so beautiful and historical. I enjoyed spending most of the day with the groom and his groomsmen. They were so fun. I loved how they had the most fun socks. The ceremony at First Presbyterian Church was gorgeous and definitely brought a tear to my eye. I adore watching two people so in love exchanging their vows. The reception space at the Georgian Terrace was in the Grand Ballroom. The decor was absolutely stunning and the couple, bridal party and guests had a wonderful time dancing the night away. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the wedding. I had so much and had so much fun capturing this beautiful day. Enjoy!
Oh my Baby M was too cute for words at his family photo session! He was full of smiles and giggles. It is so much fun to photograph such a happy baby. We had a gorgeous fall day at Luther Glass Park in Peachtree City for their family photo session. The photo of Baby M giggling as his dad tosses him in the air is one of my favorite photos. So adorable! I had so much fun with the M family and I can't wait to photograph them again!
Baby M was the sweetest little baby at her newborn session. She was so tiny and angelic. She stayed awake for part of her session so I could photograph her beautiful baby blues. All of her outfits were so cute. I especially loved the wrap with the bow. So adorable. There is nothing better than taking photos of such a sweet new baby. And the newborn snuggles I get are just a bonus. I love these photos and I hope you enjoy them too!
I was thrilled to head from Atlanta to Asheville for Amber & Dan's engagement session. I love Asheville because it is such a gorgeous, friendly city. It was where Amber & Dan became engaged so I was excited to recreate their engagement journey with my camera. We first visited the Battery Park Book Exchange & Champagne Bar, which was where Dan proposed. This is a book lovers dream as it is stuffed with books and so fun to browse books while sipping on champagne or a literary themed cocktail. We may have visited more than once that weekend! We then went to one of Asheville's charming picture perfect streets tucked away behind colorful buildings. We ended up on a gorgeous private farm tucked away in a valley surrounded by mountains. I loved taking Dan and Amber’s engagement photos and seeing how in love and happy they are. I am so excited for their wedding this weekend in Savannah. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
