Rural Beauty: Auchumpkee Creek Covered Bridge and Sprewell Bluff

It was a beautiful summer day for a Rural Beauty trip! First, I visited the Auchumpkee Creek Covered Bridge. Built in 1892, this is another stunning Georgia covered bridge in Thomaston, GA. This bridge no longer in use so it is in good condition. It spans a beautiful creek with lush vegetation. It is a beautiful picnic spot and very peaceful with little traffic.

Next I headed to Sprewell Park which is a gorgeous park on the Flint River. There is hiking, picnicking and camping. The river is beautiful as it flows through the bluffs. Words can't really do it justice so here are the photos!
