I had a wonderful time shooting Alaina's portrait session in downtown Decatur. Alaina is beautiful and was a natural at being comfortable in front of the camera. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is the wonderful people I get to meet. I really enjoyed getting to know Alaina while photographing her. She is a beautiful person inside and out and I feel honored that she shared her story of being a cancer survivor with me.She has such a positive outlook on life it was an inspiration to me. I love photographing sweet newborns. Every time I take photos of babies in their first days of life I feel it is so special. I am capturing a fleeting moment that the parents will remember the rest of their lives. I am taking photos that the kids will look at as their parents tell the stories of how their lives were changed forever. I feel it is a huge responsibility and an honor to capture these family heirlooms. Every newborn shoot is very special to me. But I must admit out of the many wonderful newborns I have photographed this was the most special. I have a very large extended family since my paternal Grandfather and Grandmother came from very large families. My Grandparents had one son and one daughter and within this immediate family my cousin was born 23 years ago. And that was the last baby in our immediate family until sweet baby Kalynn was born to my cousin. She is kind of a huge deal in our family! Kalynn was so good for her newborn session and slept most of the time. But she also was awake so we could see her pretty blue eyes. She is just the sweetest baby ever! I really love these photos of my cousin and his family! I hope you enjoy them too.

Ashley and Chris Are Engaged! {Roswell Engagement Photographer}
Ashley and Chris are such a wonderful couple! I had so much fun photographing their engagement session. They are madly in love and just go together so well. We had so much fun laughing and taking photos in the beautiful outdoors. I am very excited for their September wedding. I know it is going to be an awesome day. P Family {Marietta Family Photographer}
I had a great time with the P family at Sope Creek State Park. They were such an amazing family. It was so wonderful to see how close they all are. It was Steve and Kristi's one year wedding anniversary so that was really special to get photos of them. Caroline and Amanda were so beautiful and photogenic. AJ was so patient smiling for the camera and he also loved exploring the creek. Little Ava was so adorable. Even though it was quite a warm day everyone did an amazing job. I love hanging out with families who genuinely love each other and enjoy being together. I hope you love these photos because I definitely do!
